The Sweetwater Square district, the house of one of the busiest harbors of Metropolis, is a land of opportunities. It has dense residential areas, with several factories providing stable work and supporting the production of United States for export goods.
It was a humble French settlement in the past, under the name of Mille Porte; the land of Thousand Doors of opportunities. Through perseverance and hard work, it flourished into today's major industrial zone, supported by many apartments and commercial zones, with many pubs and taverns. Several vocational school and academy also exist, and local library claims to have more books than other town libraries across the states.
FacilitiesAffordable ApartmentsThe district offers many options of affordable-but-decent apartments. The landlords and neighborhoods are caring and always look after you. And many of the apartment already connected to the Sweetwater telephone line; contacting someone is easy! Abundant WorkplacesWith the busy ports and factories managed by the experienced Neige Heavy Industry, anyone would have a chance to find some works in the district. Even if they cannot due to the lack of skills, there are supporting industries such as restaurants, laundries, newspaper, or even joining daily commute to the farms and ranches owned by Neige Establishments located at western parts of Metropolis. Academic and SchoolFor those lacking the skills but want to educate themselves, there are also several vocational schools and academies. With low tuition cost, or loans from Neige Finance Institute, any residents can earn some education to improve themselves so they can contribute better. Pleasure and LeisureThere are many pubs and taverns, including saloons, offering the best smokes and teas and coffees. A good theater can be found too on the main street. The local radio Neige Broadcast also airs the latest nice music from across the states.
{Mystics Information}
There have been rumors between the Mystics that this area, like several other districts, fully blocks Teleportation or Mind-Telepathy (or any other Extraordinary Tele-matters) from inside out and from outside in. It is circulated that such attempts might risk them to be trapped into mind or space continuum, or death, or at best is simply not working.

{Week 1}  AFTERMATHNews from Sweetwater Square area. The electricity problems caused by yellow people finally settled down. According to eye witnesses, a group of people with some of them are of the yellow race, took matters to their hands. Some theorized that it might be problems with local triads or gangsters between the yellow race, or maybe some of the civilians fed up with the evil saboteurs and tackle the problem by themselves. The culprit itself met an agonizing demise at the end of his life. But at least, peace has been restored.
{Week 2}  AFTERMATHThere have been some conflicts at Three Rabbits Diner, some said that a group of mixed minorities ganged up the Lord Savior Defender Front. Retaliatory conflict were inevitable, but fortunately it was not escalated too much. Especially since it seems the Flaming and arson incidents have stopped from appearing. However, the Malfoy family are still mourning of their lost members.
{Week 3}  AFTERMATHJustice has finally delivered to the Pig Butcherer. He went to assault a certain branch of an organization, who was planning to burn Semitic people for vengeance. Surprisingly enough, it seems some of Semitic people took stance to defend the organization, and to deliver justice to the villain. "There were several Semitic people, who despite their lower race and disabilities, gladly helped us because 'this is the right thing'. If only all of the Semitic people are like that, we might think differently," according to a member. The other branches do not share the same thoughts, "Lesser races are lesser, it might be their tricks!"
{Week 4}  AFTERMATHSpecial report from Chuck No Risk, the owner and manager of "Lion's Den" Gym. He hunted the Russian Sadistic Boxer for days, and finally he caught him picking up a school of young boxers. Chuck spent no time to intercept, but he was overwhelmed especially since he needed to protect the young ones. The Sadistic Boxer is beyond reason. Fortunately, a group of people, all are of color, appeared and helped to defeat the Boxer. "One is a tall Nigger, seems blind but boy he can punch. There is also two chinese maybe, one boy and one little girl, they also can use weird martial arts. Also another quite similar to the Russian, just much shorter, he also can box. One uncle possibly their manager, since he also treated the kids and myself. Oh the young chinese girl has tasty candy."
{Week 5}  AFTERMATHThere has been a major incident on the problematic reclamation construction site. It was during the visit Lady Neige of Neige Enterprise. According to her secretary, she went there at her own sudden whim, saying she wanted to inspect the progress and the sabotages, but then the event happened. According to the local engineers, it was caused by natural disasters of underground water flow, thus explaining the problem with mud and water, that even can launch high pressure muddy water. A group of passerby, all are colored people, helped with the evacuation and dealing with the troublesome water pressures and mud explosions. Lady Neige herself received immediate treatment, and now is recovering.
{Week 9}  AFTERMATHSeveral witnesses claimed that, after getting caught by Klan and was thrown into the sewer, a loose alligator appeared. Fortunately a group of people, mostly of yellow race, appeared and helped them. The Klan apparently was patrolling the sewer too, cautious of recent incidents, and finally is sure that the cause has been dealt with. Police investigated the case and found that the witnesses were, in fact, criminals who have been caught by the Klan, and they are now facing trials. The police also expressed their thanks to the Klan for catching the criminals and patrolling the sewer, although the police prefer the Klan to just hand the criminals to the law in the future. Currently investigation are continuing on the local pet stores and zoo, regarding the loose alligator. A theory rose it might have come from the river upstream, and new bars are proposed to be installed at several point of the sewers.
{Week 12} AFTERMATHLocal Triad fight erupted in Sweetwater Square, with several casualties. All of the dead and captured gang member were illegal immigrants from China and Japan, namely Guandong and Taipei. Due to their status, all of them are deported to "the island" immediately.
{Week 15}  AFTERMATHNews from the Steel Factory of Neige Enterprise. The latest incident injured a part-time worker, but fortunately due to her actions the cause can be identified. There has been faulty pressure systems that was accumulated by the weather and earthquakes for this years. Adjustments have been made and the water tanks are working safely now, with additional safety measures invented and patented by Neige Engineering Laboratory of Neige Enterprise.
{Week 20}  AFTERMATHThe grand opening of the new apothecary, coincides with the birthday of Lady Elurra Neige, went smoothly. A group of minorities were invited to have lunch together, along with the trusted aide Drakon Loshad (CEO of Neige Enterprise), and the fabled loyal butler Alfred. Rumors stated that some accidents happened, but Neige Enterprise stated that there was just some minor problems with the plafon and flooring, and it is already underwent renovation. Rumors spreading however, Lady Elurra Neige was sad with the ruined flooring, as she was seen leaving with sad face.
{Week 22} AFTERMATHThere have been some gang fight at the outer skirt of Sweetwater Square, around one of the shady dock area. Rumors about increasing activities of gangsters and triads slipping into Sweetwater Square can be heard at many parts of the pubs and canteens.
{Week 27}  AFTERMATHReports about some traces of fight occurred at the back alley of Venus Sorority, where a certain tragic event happened in the past. Further, rumors about weird hallucination at the area has been reduced, as if the cause were wiped off by the rain.
{Week 33}  AFTERMATHThere are already several reports of police raid on a newly formed gangster of black people. No victims aside the gangsters can be found. Contraband goods especially illegal weapons have been confiscated, leaving the question of who supplied these weapons into the district, and why.
