A small shop with the sign "Khoury Domesticated Animals and Exotic Pets" is standing in a low-class shopping district. From the windows, various animals can be seen, from small and cute furry beings to large slithering creature. Inside, five people related by blood and beliefs live together taking care of the shop, welcoming every customer with a friendly smile and a quirky dialect that comes from the other part of the world. The shop opens at normal hours but it seems there's some scheduled time where the shop close for break at a certain time of day. During that time, some kind of chanting can be heard. Nevertheless, the outside might seems normal, but enter the shop and you would feel like you have left the Metropolis.
Public Rumors
Eh? Khoury? Sure, I know that place, I bought my cat there. They have all kind of animals, it's weird they don't have any kind of dogs though. Something about prohibited by religion. The mother and the daughter also always wear some kind of headscarves. Weird, huh? I hope they are not in some kind of evil cult.
Cat Owner
I went to that weird shop once and I almost got bitten by a snake! Don't go to that place! The shopkeeper was a scarred bearded old guy wearing some kind of garb, looks like some kind of terrorist! How do i know? I just know! With a face like that, he must be planning something! Police? No way, man! I don't want to get assassinated for snitching!
Local Guy
I know them. They are a family of five, a husband and his wife and their two daughters and a son. If you ask me, they are a bunch of nice people. They always invited me for tea and snacks. Their Ta-Boo-leh or whatever the name is delicioussss..... They have a sad history though. Something happened to them in the past. Their youngest daughter is crippled and the father is scarred because of it. I heard they also lost their youngest daughter too. I tried to invite them to try the teaching of Jesus, but the refuse it. If only they are not such lost souls, I'm sure they would be able to live peacefully.
